Tate had his first swimming lesson today. He loved it! It is a small class with only 1 other boy and 4 little girls. Tate had a hard time leaving. When his teacher, Amber, told him the class was over, he told her he was staying in the pool because he wasn't done playing. I had to convince him that we would go back tomorrow before he would get out!
Our poor little Max has been having a rough few days. We took him to the ER last night with a fever of 104. He was dehydrated, so he had to have an IV put in. 5 hours later (definitely do not recommend Alta View Hospital!!) we finally were able to take him home. His fever is still high, but is manageable with tylenol and motrin. We'll see in the morning if we need another trip to the doc.
Today is an exciting day--Chad got his first paycheck!!! He wanted to frame it on the wall, but we decided we'd cash it instead!

It is so fun to see pictures of the cute boys I used to babysit! I feel so bad for little Max and hope he will be feeling better really soon. That is exciting about the paycheck...can't wait for Jacob's turn!
Way to go Tate! We're proud of you! That's so sad about little Max! I hope he's feeling better now. Maybe it'll make you feel better to know that everyone in our little cul-de-sac has sick kiddos too. You'd fit right in! Way to go Chad!! We're looking forward to that first paycheck too but we're starting to fear that it isn't going to be as soon as we'd previously anticipated! Akk!
Hey, I found your blog by accident and I am sure glad I did. Your boys are too cute and we sure miss you guys alot. Sounds like your really glad to be home, that is great. I am sorry to hear about little Max, hope is getting better! We love and miss you guys bunches, Crystal!
I hope little Max is feeling better now. I would love to put Syd in a swimming class but she wants to be in a violin class (after maddie took lessons she has always wanted to). Anyway, hope you're lovin' Utah. I sure miss it.
