Max discovered our craft cupboard a few days ago. Boy was he proud! He pulled everything out! When I found him he just laughed like he knew he'd made a mess. Good thing he's so darn cute! He's also been learning a lot of new tricks. He is almost walking, and will crawl over and climb onto anything he can. I took him to the pediatrician's today for his 1 year checkup. She said "well I can see he is definitely above average in motor skills..." this as Max is tearing the room apart and climbing on all of the furniture! I guess all of his exercise explains why he is no longer on the chart for weight. He weighs 17 lb. 11 oz. so he's pretty little. Sounds like it's a milkshake and french fry diet for a while!
We took the boys to the Mayan restaurant tonight. It totally made Tate's day. He walked around finding all of the birds and lizards hidden throughout the trees. He was mesmerized as he watched the divers. When we were finished I asked him if he liked it at the Mayan restaurant he said "no, Mommy, it was the Magical Mayan." I can't remember the last time I saw him so wide eyed and excited!

You better fatten up your little guy! Garrett is about to catch up to him in a few months! j/k We just have beefy boys at our house, so I'm always amazed at litte ones. Max is so cute. I love the mischevious look on his face. He is absolutely loving it! We hope you guys are doing well! We sure miss our favorite photographer. Are you sure you can't make a trip to Iowa?!
Too fun! I can't leave Henry in the kitchen or bathroom or those cabinets become emptied as well! Congrats to Max on walking and climbing. Our boys would have a blasts together!
Tawny is a monster compared to him. I need to put that little girl on a diet. She is always leading me into the kitchen begging for food.

Tate's description of the Mayan sounds so fun! We've yet to eat there but we hear it's pretty cool. :) LOL about Max not being on the charts for weight. My kiddos don't have that problem! Akk! Glad to see you posting! I miss seeing you hanging out outside with the boys! UT is too far away!
